Introduction

This site is dedicated to all persons in need of God’s healing presence, and is in memory of the work established by The Reverend Virginia D. Dunn (Ginny), a Deacon in the Episcopal Church, Harrisburg, PA.  Ginny believed in the absolute power of healing through prayer, laying on of hands, anointment with oil, and Holy Eucharist.

It is a Christian calling to represent the healing power of Christ in the midst of the world’s life, and no person felt that calling more strongly, or was more dedicated.
The purpose of developing this healing site is to further Ginny’s beliefs, by providing a resource for those wanting help or wanting to give help, establish a prayer list for all those in need of the healing spirit, and give hope to all who believe in the power of healing prayer.
God persistently calls men and women to be themselves healers.  Anglicans inherit this tradition.  Nowhere is it more apparent than in the Service for the Ministration to the Sick in the Book of Common Prayer.  The three-part service, the Ministry of the Word, Laying on of Hands and Anointing and Holy Communion asserts that God is present in and for the sick person.
James 5:14-15  Anyone of you who is ill should send for the elders of the church and then must anoint the sick person with oil in the name of the Lord and pray over him…the prayer of faith will save the sick person (NIV)

St. Teresa’s Prayer
May today there be peace within.  May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.  May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.  May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.  May you be content knowing you are a child of God.  Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.
May the peace of God be with Court and Ginny now and forever.
Pray for the sick.
